GF received a Memphis-Morning-Message informing that our sweet sister Erica Qualy (The VIGNETTES, Objectum Sexuals) has once again put together something fierce. We find a group, titled “FREDD VELVET” and they’ve  wasted no time in recording and releasing a self-titled EP over a two-day period with the help of Hartle Road.
The band’s first release comes as an endearing sludge of steady-beat, neon-lit punk rock with plenty of auxiliary sounds which clang and tang to haunted organs that hover amid a well executed union of brass and axes.  This 5-song EP hosts a collection of tracks that range from the comatose march of “Green Eyes” to the suggestive nature of “I Want To Look At My Rocks“.  Clocking out right at around 10-minutes, the EP promises to be a pleasurable experience to all those familiar with the legendary history between Memphis, TN and independent punk rock music.
