For nearly 2 years, Hart has been working at Gypsy Farm studio on his debut album, Drowning In Reverse.
Perhaps unlike any other song on the upcoming album, “Receptionist..” is a song that dives into the darker side of Hart’s music, churning and thumping along to random musings and slipping into a dream-like trance, leaving the day-to-day business to a friendlier face.
Hart has worked closely with GF friends in the past including performing with Blue Billy Grit (a 2012 Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest winner) and is the son of local musician, Benny Hart.
Drowning In Reverse will release on vinyl and all streaming platforms September 23rd, 2025.
Strange Duck Brewing in Commerce, Ga will host an early release party for the album on September 19th, at 6:30pm.
This will be a listening event, as well as a live performance by Shawn Hart & guests.
