The skeleton song in particular is a chop-charmed blend of 50’s pop that could be collecting dust on the shores of Leso Island, bound by it’s barbaric beat.

Folks first caught sound of the band via Myface in 2008 and later, making their debut on 2012’s GYPNOSIS compilation.

Chase The Devil

I had the pleasure of watching this last night on Netflix. Easily the best thing I’ve seen in 2011, if not for the past couple of years. Filmed in the early 80’s, It tells of the radical (and at times cynical) practices of the Appalachian Mountains and it’s religious music history. The movie touches on everything from the “Holy-er than thou’s” to the outcast mountain folk that just like to have a “good time”.  At barely an hour long, this documentary packs in snake handling, drinking poison and of course some of the best jangle music you can find, or should I say, never find. It is inevitable that the music will inspire some sort of spirit in the listener, whether or not it is the holy spirit or the devil, is the question.
