Content with identifying as perhaps the strangest-mistake currently signed to Gypsy Farm, the experimental-act known as “Bat And The Bears” celebrates it’s first official year of existence having released an EP [Wool Wearing Wolf] last July and being referred to as “Gothic-Karaoke”.

Following a live performance last Saturday night in Athens, GA the project released a new single called “Tight Fit” recorded at Gypsy Farm in the fall of 2017 before the label cut funding.

Fresh off his debut [Country Strange Vol. 1] earlier this year, Uncle Goo is once again grinding out another batch of his famous country + western tunes. His latest single “This Heat” is due out August 13th on Gypsy Farm Records.

Uncle Goo took a few moments away from his recent recording session at Gypsy Farm to dip into Shoal Creek and ponder on his living in Georgia as well as a favorite scene from the Johnny Cash bio-pic “Walk The Line”.

During the interview, Goo is joined by canine companions “Dash” and “Rufus” before giving a joyful rendition of Cash’s “Tennessee Stud” live from Shoal Creek. Watch and share the full interview via youtube link below:
