Kwazymoto premieres new track

Experimental noise punk duo Kwazymoto have debuted a new single from their forthcoming album My American Family – available Sept 28th with the release show taking place Oct 6th at The Caledonia Lounge in Athens, Ga.

Flagpole magazine premiered the official music video for the track titled Hipster Scum calling the band “one of the most musically and conceptually ambitious bands in town”.

Kwazy-frontman Ian Hemerlein had this to say : “The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Zeke Sayer at Gypsy Farm Studio. We have also returned back to our original two-piece lineup for this album, which is [myself] on guitar and vocals and Kody Blackmon on drums. My sister, Lauren Hemerlein, also performs harp on some of the tracks. I directed the video, which is our first to feature lyrics visually, so I would encourage reading them”.

Hemerlein has also recently released solo material under the name Saint Syzygy.
